Jeff Pederson is a lifelong Northwest Arkansas resident who raised his family in Fayetteville and has spent decades serving the local community both professionally and personally.

Jeff began his career in the furniture industry, where he spent over 10 years managing store operations for the largest furniture retailer in the Mid-South. This hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of logistics, inventory management, and—most importantly—how to handle people’s belongings with care and precision.

For the past 18 years, Jeff has worked in commercial real estate brokerage with Lindsey & Associates, where he currently serves as a Senior Vice President. His career has been built on trust, accountability, and long-term relationships—values that directly shape how Modern Movers operates today.

Jeff is currently serving his third term on the Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and remains actively involved with local organizations whenever possible.

Founding Modern Movers was a natural extension of Jeff’s background in real estate, furniture, and community leadership. Alongside a highly qualified management team, Jeff leads Modern Movers with a focus on professionalism, clear communication, and accountability—raising the standard for what customers should expect from a moving company.

My name is Zach Yocum, General Manager of Modern Movers and a lifelong Northwest Arkansas resident. My family and I are deeply rooted in this community. My mission is to ensure Modern Movers delivers a seamless, professional experience for every client, regardless of the size of the move. Outside of work, I’m an avid outdoor enthusiast and can often be found exploring the hundreds of miles of mountain bike and hiking trails that make NWA world-class.

My name is Jacob House and I am the Sales Manager at Modern Movers. I am a Fayetteville native and a University of Arkansas Alum. I have been in logistics and management for 20 years of my professional life. I take great pride in calling Northwest Arkansas home for 40 years. My passion has always been for my community and volunteerism. Being able to help navigate Arkansans in their next journey in life with Modern Movers has been a true blessing because it gives me interaction with the community on a daily basis and it allows me to help foster growth in an area that I call home. Being able to provide undeniable and unmatched service is my promise to myself and my community.
