Alvey Matlock leads Guardian Forensics with a practical, results-driven approach to digital forensic investigations. With a background rooted in both technology and investigative forensics, Alvey works directly with clients to uncover, access, and analyze data that’s often buried deep within complex systems.
He’s handled a wide range of matters, from locked-down devices and encrypted accounts to large-scale e-discovery projects involving tight deadlines and high-pressure environments. Alvey’s consistent focus is on producing scientifically repeatable and reliable results for a wide range of technical, logistical, and legal challenges.
Alvey is also experienced in providing expert testimony and has earned a reputation for doing well under cross-examination. His strength lies in explaining complex findings in a clear, direct manner, whether in court or the conference room.

Outside of Work
Outside of work, Alvey is a husband and father, a proud veteran of the Air Force National Guard, and an avid outdoorsman. From 1996 to 2004, he served as a Sergeant with the F-16 188th Fighter Wing. His hobbies include drone piloting, CrossFit, mountain biking, hunting, and fishing, and he competes as a racer in the Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series (AMBCS). Alvey and his family are active members of First Baptist Church
